  Full Description
The Pomerol appellation is world famous for producing some of the world’s most outstanding Merlot grapes and Merlot-based wines. The vineyards are planted half in Merlot and half in Cabernet Franc. Production is 45,000 bottles annually with the kosher production around 15 percent of that. Chateau du Quint is owned by Chateau Roc de Boissac and the winemakers from de Boissac supervise everything at Chateau du Quint. Smooth and tender with complex aromas, this wine may be enjoyed young (because of it’s Merlot base) or can age quite well for several years, providing it is stored correctly. Please uncork at least 30 minutes before serving (a good idea with all high quality red wines). We’re shipping the 2004 vintage which is non-Mevushal and O-U Certified. Grab this wine while it lasts, because kosher Pomerol is produced in very limited quantities and Chateau du Quint is the very best in a very small field.
