A full-bodied, super-dark garnet blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Petite Sirah. Reflecting its 30 months in primarily French oak with firm tannins and generous but not overpowering notes of spices and smoke, those parting comfortably to make way for purple plums, blackcurrants, blueberries and black licorice. Firm and concentrated with grainy tannins and a note of raspberries rise nicely on the finish. Drink now-2014, perhaps longer.
